A new guesthouse at the end of a utility line struggles with power outages and voltage problems.

A guesthouse usually has a diesel genset installed to bridge the often prolonged power outages. However, the costs are exorbitantly high – especially for the operation: diesel and service.

If the grid now also has large voltage fluctuations, light bulbs have a very short service life and air conditioners and refrigerators can be damaged. Then the investment in a PV system is worthwhile.

Within the framework of the installer examination in November 2018, this plant was built on the roof of the Saleti Guesthouse.
