June 2026 Trip to Northern Ghana

From June 3 to 20, 2026, Werner and Timon travelled through northern Ghana – stopping in Gushiegu, Tumu, Sandema and Tamale. The focus was on supporting ongoing radio projects, launching new solar installations, and expanding the partnership with Theovision.

At the Queen Sheeba Clinic (Gushiegu), data was collected to measure grid quality. A solar system with island-mode operation is essential here.

At Radio Radford in Tumu, the new contract was signed with the management board. In Sandema, a solution was found for Radio Builsa, which will now be implemented by local partner Bosuglo. In Tamale, the FTE CompetenceCenter was visited: the space can be used free of charge for another year, and the solar system there was also put into operation.

Outlook: Two new solar systems are in planning (the Tree of Life Clinic in Accra, and the Queen Sheeba/OM Clinic in Gushiegu), a new REPIC project is being launched, and the next on-site mission is planned for November 2026.
