The local trainers have advertised this course themselves and run it independently. We are only online for the graduation.

Sandema is on the road from Tumu to Navrongo. A PV system is being installed at Radio Bulisa, which can also be used as a demonstration object for measurements in this course.

Again, 10 people have signed up and are learning hard. We have now adapted the syllabus to the African context and each skill is taught and assessed according to this scheme:

Watch, trainer shows – do together – do yourself, trainer observes – do yourself, trainer assesses. If something is not right, the trainer has to explain it again and the process is repeated.

At the end of the course, all participants take a final test and receive a certificate.

The Energy Commission (EC) is working on an official certificate similar to the one for electricians. Our graduates should be able to pass this EC exam.
