Now that the material has been fully taught, the designer courses could be completed. However, the political situation in Burkina Faso makes travel very difficult at the moment.

As all the teachers have their own laptops, it is possible to run the course via video conferencing. We worked together for many hours over several weeks via the web, and at the end of the course everyone had to take a written exam in the form of a final paper on the web server. Overall, however, it became clear that independent work on this scale is simply not possible in the African context. As soon as the situation improves, we want to go on a trip and make up the exam. Until then, we will be designing new plants together via phone and cloud. After all, two of the team have already built a plant independently in Burkina Faso with a friendly organisation (see „Wêndbenedo“ Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso).
