Radio Builsa Solar System Repairs in Progress

Radio Builsa’s solar system, which has provided much of the station’s energy needs for several years, is undergoing repairs to restore its full capacity. The system recently experienced technical problems and was out of service. Efforts are now underway to regain energy independence and continue to provide affordable information to the community. This will help avoid interruptions caused by the unreliable electricity grid.

The repairs to Radio Builsa’s solar system will be carried out by local technicians trained by Fair Trade Energy. They will be accompanied by our lead installer. The main aim is to reduce the station’s high electricity costs while ensuring a stable power supply. Repairing the solar system is essential for Radio Builsa to continue serving the community.

Radio Builsa provides vital news, information and educational content to the region. Thanks to the solar system, the station has significantly reduced its operating costs. A stable and efficient power source is essential for the station to broadcast its programmes consistently.

The solar system is also supported by monitoring tools. These tools help to maximise energy efficiency and detect problems early on. Regular maintenance ensures that Radio Builsa remains a reliable source of information for the community.

Fair Trade Energy and Radio Builsa would like to thank everyone who has supported this project financially. We continue to appeal for donations to secure a long-term, sustainable energy supply. This will help Radio Builsa in its important work for the community.
